Meat fat and meal
The fat and oil which is found in animal raw materials can undergo changes during processing and storage, the most common change being oxidative rancidity (oxidation). The effect of oxidation and rancidity makes the produce look not very nice, and spoilage can also occur which causes the feed to taste and smell bad.
3A Antioxidants has developed several synergetic mixes containing natural and synthetic antioxidants which help protect these products. They have also developed natural and synthetic preservatives to spray and disinfect the installations in order to prevent microbiological build-up in the feed.
